I had a good experience per most Amazon Fresh shops. First time to this branch. Easy to navigate. Clean. Staff were helpful, friendly and pleasant. Grabbed a quick sandwich for lunch which was nice. I just wish they would have a bigger variety as there isn't much choice. Would recommend otherwise.

Went inside for a bottle of water and saw that it was £1.95. However it charged me £9 when I tapped my card. I only saw this after I left and tried calling the store but the number literally doesn’t work and I don’t see another way to contact them. Do not waste your money going here. Please explain how to request refund rather than just providing a general link to the Amazon storefront.

Ich kann mich nur den negativen Erfahrungen anschließen. Gestern kam ich zum ersten Mal an einem Amazon Fresh Store vorbei und wollte mal ausprobieren, ohne zu wissen, wie die Zahlweise überhaupt funktioniert. Angekommen an der so genannten Kasse, wo nur ein Personal steht, die meiner Meinung nach sowieso keine Ahnung von irgendwas hat. Man wird aufgefordert das Produkt nur vorzuhalten, das die KI erfasst und die Rechnung automatisch erstellt und vom jeweiligen Zahlungsmittel abgebucht wird. Natürlich ohne Beleg, ohne irgendwelche Rechnung wird man aus dem Laden hinaus befördert, in meinem Fall mit dem einen Wasser, dass ich für ein Pfund gekauft habe. Transaktionsbeleg meines Kontos habe ich auch gepostet, wie deutlich zu sehen ist, hat dieser betrügerische Laden zunächst einmal den Betrag des Wassers abgebucht und dann noch mal ungefähr zehn Euro. Das ist mehr als unverschämt, das ist Betrug. Die britische Regierung sollte dagegen etwas tun, insbesondere wenn man alle anderen negativen Bewertungen in dieser gleichen Art mit erwägt. Heute werde ich noch mal zum Laden gehen, um diesen Sachverhalt zu schildern, teile dann auch meine Erfahrungen hier.

Korrektur: Nachdem ich in der Filiale gefragt habe, warum diese extra zehn Euro abgezogen wurden, antwortete das Personal nett, detailliert und hilfreich. Anscheinend sind diese extra Abbuchungen, keine Abbuchungen, sondern Amazon blockiert das Geld einfach, und am Ende wird nur der Betrag der gekauften Ware abgezogen. Aber auf dieses Detail hätten auch die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen von Amazon auf Google reagieren können, damit sich die negativen Rezensionen ersparen. Wegen des netten Personals vor Ort, gibt es nur drei Sterne.

Bought 2 chocolet bars for 2 GBP but was charged 19 GBP last week! When I asked the guy working in the store he told me it is beacause I was using a card from a different country (I was as tourist in London) but I will get back the money. Since then I was charged wit 2 GBP (the correct amount) but haven't got back the 19 GBP since then. 8 days have passed already. I don't know how a shop like this is allowed to operate, they just steal your money..

I don’t like being charged more that I should be paying and then waste SO much time with useless customer service. It is good to see innovation but it is not working properly

Similarly to others, we got massively overcharged. We didn't know about amazon fresh & thought it was a normal store. Felt very uncomfortable with the explanation about how it all works....cctv watching you, sensors on the shelf, no scanning of products, no receipt, etc when we went to pay. However feeling lazy, we stupidly went with it but said we'd never go back. We bought 2 chocolate bars. It should have cost £1.70. Checked my bank account later & they'd charged £15. Currently trying to get it refunded but it's difficult to find contact details online. When we called a number we found, they didn't know how to help. We'd immediately decided never to go back but this definitely reinforces it and I'm only sorry I didn't listen to my gut at the time.

Primeira vez que visitamos uma destas lojas e fomos surpreendidas pela forma de pagamento no final, infelizmente como era a 1a vez fizemos disparate e a loja cobrou me a mim e a minha irmã o mm valor das compras. Quando demos por isso voltamos a atrás e o rapaz disse-nos que não nos preocupassemos que o pagamento estava como pendente e iria ser posteriormente resolvido e assim foi.
Hoje eu ja tinha o valor certo retirado da conta e a minha irmã também. Mais uma ideia vencedora da Amazon como empresa.

A loja estava arrumada e com muita variedade.

Concept does NOT work. Picked up a yogurt and pastry, got to the "checkout" and was told that the CCTV automatically detects what you buy so you don't need to scan any products. You pay with a card but have no idea what you're being charged and you don't get a receipt unless the card is linked to your amazon account or you log in online to retrieve the receipt. I was skeptical about being charged for the right items and sure enough, when I retrieved my receipt, I had mysteriously been charged for an extra cheesecake that I never bought!? Never ever shopping at an Amazon Fresh again.

EDIT: Contacted Amazon to get a refund. Was re-routed through 3 different agents, two of whom assured me they would sort out the refund. Two weeks later, still NO REFUND.
