Been meaning to post since our return from a great week skiing in La Tania at Christmas.||||We have skied in La Tania for many years and we love the resort and all the Three Valleys has to offer, particularly La Chanterelles Creperie in the village which our is favourite place to eat. The snow was ok, a bit icy later in the week but they always work really hard to keep runs open and groomed. Last years early season snow was so good, it was not likely to be quite that amazing a second year running.||||This year was our first year with Alpine Generation, but we will definitely be returning! Chalet Beau Vallon was a great chalet, right on the edge of the blue /green run with literally just a few steps down to the piste in the morning and with a little more snow, even pretty skiable from the door. Yes, there are lots of steps down from the road with luggage, but that was not too much hassle with the the help of our wonderful chalet girls, Octavia and Lucy. ||||Once there, the chalet was very roomy and comfortable, bedrooms were much bigger than we have had in some chalets witht room to swing a cat and everywhere was very clean and fresh. Some rooms had separate shower cubicles and some showers over the bath, but as we had the whole chalet, people could chose what they preferred. There was even room to put up a massage table in one of the rooms, when Bjiorn from Massage Me came (highly recommended!), something we could not have done in most previous chalets. The boot room was in the basement as other people have said, in an ideal world a door direct to the outside from there would have been great, but again it was not too difficult to carry things up in the morning.||||Octavia and Lucy were fab-u-lous! Nothing was too much trouble, they looked after us all really well and were great company too. The food was the best we have had in a chalet for a very long time, including a wonderful Christmas dinner with all the trimmings and great early meals for the younger members of our family group. I can't believe we were their first guests of the season, everything seemed to run so smoothly! ||||All in all we had a fantastic time and I am already looking to book again for next year.

What a great week we have just had staying in Chalet Beauvallon. ||||It's in an ideal position, very close to the blue piste, which takes you down into La Tania. From there the bubble whisks you swiftly up to connections with Courcheval and Meribel, with all the fantastic skiing the Trois Valleys has to offer.||||The chalet hosts, Tom and Ed, gave us, probably, the best week we have had in a chalet! Their cooking skills were excellent. Breakfast was great...with a full English option and a choice of eggs, even poached! Cakes were risen, not easy at altitude!! Prosecco aperitif before dinner was lovely, followed by tasty and well cooked starters, main courses and desserts, all washed down with very acceptable wine. They even cooked us bacon and sausage baguettes, at 4am, for our transfer home...bless them!||||The chalet has plenty of room for 12 people. Bedrooms are adequate size and all have balconies and ensuite facilities. It wasn't too much of an issue not having a door from the boot room to the outside, we just carried our lovely warmed boots up stairs to the front door! ||||Bars and restaurants are a short walk down the piste, or road, into La Tania and there is a handy Sherpa supermarket for any extras you may need. Ski hire shops are plentiful and I have to recommend Pascal at Intersport who was extremely helpful when my 20 year old boots fell apart!||||Well done Ski Total, and the team in La Tania, lead by Resort Manager Anne.

The Chalet is now run by Ski Total. This was our first chalet experience and we were very impressed. The furnishings and decor were in good condition and the food prepared and served by Adam and Suzie was of a very high standard. As a vegetarian, I was very well catered for. Bedrooms are small but we had plenty of storage space and our bathroom was large and well appointed. Wifi was good. The location, just a few yards to the piste, is excellent and the access to the whole of the Three Valleys area is easy. We would love to return!!

3 vallee has to be one of the best ski areas in the world and we were blessed with the best conditions having a good base of snow, blue skies and a snow top up mid week. Perfect conditions and perfect and varied skiing for all abilities and ambitions.||We chose to base ourselves at Chalet Beau Vallon in La Tania which was operated by Ski Total. Overall we had a great time but for the purpose of the review I will break down good and bad points.||Good.||The chalet has a good position near the blue run that returns to the village, though the piste is accessed by an icy track which is no more that a minute walk and you do get used to it. This means you can get straight onto the snow in the morning for the short drop to the bubble that pretty much accessess Courchevel, Meribel and everywhere else. At the end of the day you can return on skiis to the icy track via a blue or green run. Not ski in ski out, but not far off.||It is also well positioned for access the La tania village with has a very lively bar the Ski lodge, and other bars, restauraunts a small supermarket etc. Thr first night we just walked across the piste to access the pub but we then discovered a lif from the chalet quarter down to the village which has very handy. Whenever we didn't fancy the walk to the village for a few beers we took the very short walk up to the Hotel Telemark which had a happy hour between 6 and 7 and had a pool table as well as sports tv. ||||Tom and Ed were good hosts and food was good, from breakfast, afternoon cakes through to the 3 course evening meal.||||Not so good.||The downside fort his chalet was that it was a little tired and did require come updating. The communal lounge and dining was a good size but would really benefit from some investment. As would the bedrooms. All guests spoke of mould in the bedrooms and certainly this was the case in our bedroom which also didn't appear to have an opening window for ventilation. There was a door on to the patio but to open this you had to move the bed - clearly not ideal. There were also a lot of steps down to the chalet which meant carrying kit in and out at the start and end of the week was a real effort - though I have to say Tom and Ed really mucked in here to help out.||As has also been pointed out in previous reviews the boot room was downstairs from the chalet entrance which meant a lot of lugging skis and boots up and downstairs -this was not ideal. The boot room itself was fine - it just need a separate entrance!||||Overall a good stay but clearly some investment needed to improve the chalet. Luckily skiing itself was so good that nobody really spoke about the chalet until later in the week so it certainly didn't affect our trip.

We have just returned from a fantastic family holiday in La Tania, we have skied with ski esprit and Total Ski on numerous occasions but we all agreed (myself, my husband and daughters 17 & 20) that the Beauvallon is one of the most comfortable chalets that we have stayed in. Yes, as previous reviews state, the boot room is poorly located but it really didn't put us off because everything else made up for it. The chalet was very clean and warm, the food and wine superb and the chalet host Sophie and resort rep Anne really could not be more accommodating- over and above service which we appreciated tremendously. Would we come back? Absolutely we would! The chalet itself, the location so close to the piste, and the small but friendly resort, not too mention the extensive skiing available across the very accessible three valleys enabled us to have one of our best skiing holiday in years.

It was my first chalet holiday and I cannot recommend this one enough! My husband has been on a fair few chalet/ski holidays and he agrees that the food & service was the best yet.|Our chalet hosts, Tom & Ed, couldn’t do enough for us all - from the moment we arrived until the morning we left. |Meals were all home-cooked and absolutely delicious. Wine superb. Freshly baked cakes each afternoon. Sausage baguettes cooked at 4am for our coach journey back to the airport. The level of service was unfaltering.||The chalet is an ideal location right on the side of the piste. A 5min stroll gets you to the local bars/restaurants of La Tania.|There’s a free shuttle-bus which is very handy and takes you directly into Couchevel 1850 (about 30mins) for those wanting to explore. ||I’d struggle to find a reason not to book again with Ski Total and the lads in Beau Vallon - thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!

A group of 13 arrived at the Chalet Beau Vallon on the 6th March 2016. We where greeted with a lovely warm welcome by the staff and our cases where quickly taken down to the chalet. ||The chalet is in an amazing location. The nursery slope is a 1 minute walk if that.. So its not ski to your door type of chalet but I don't think many of them exist any way! The chalet other wise is lovely. all rooms are a decent size with either a shower or a bath and its nice to have your own balcony. ||Living space is great as its open plan so the staff (who where lovely) are in on the action. You will see some reviews saying the furniture is out of date. I would disagree. Its not tatty old stuff.. Ok its not modern but the chalet has that old country feel about it any way. It is kept nice and clean which is always important.||For the week we where there the 2 main staff where amazing and did what ever they could for us. They also kept our 5 year old boy entertained and they where always happy to arrange food for him before and they catered for what he wanted. All the food was lovely which is prepared freshly every day, and the freshly made cakes that Adam and Kate made where all amazing. I would just like to point out that Adam and Kate are lovely and are a valid team of Ski Total.||Only little moan is the boot room is down stairs which at the end of the day can be a pain but every thing else made up for it. ||Would we go back. Of course we would. It was well worth the money we paid. Excellent service and we never had any problems. A great week. ||Thank you Ski Total and a huge Thank you to Adam and Kate (I hope I got the names right) 🙂

After a long journey in what turned out to be the worst transfer day in living memory we settled down for the night ready to start our holiday the next morning. We were a party of 10, 3 families with 4 teenagers (all boys) staying for the New Years week, we are La Tania regulars and this was our first experience with Ski Power.||||We were greeted by Sarah & Katie who made us very welcome and served us breakfast, throughout the week both Sarah & Katie looked after us well with great cakes in the afternoon and overall a good standard of food all the way through our stay.||||Now the chalet itself is wonderfully located within touching distance of the Folyeres piste and you can actually ski onto the piste in the morning. However the chalet is looking rather dated and tired, the lounge area is a good size but the furniture is very very dated (looks like it is from the 80's). The main issue is the ski/boot room which is at the bottom of the chalet with no exit outside meaning that you have to walk & carry all your equipment through the house which has wrecked the carpets and is far from ideal, in addition to this some of the top bedrooms had mould around the window frames which we weren't expecting, also the lack of wifi for the boys was a real issue which in this day and age you come to expect. We fed back using the customer satisfaction survey and I also fedback to the company owner, alas was informed that this is due to the chalet owners reluctance to update yet Ski Power still charge a premium!!!||||On New Years Eve we were greeted with the gift of a large bottle of wine from the owners which was a nice touch, overall we had a great holiday because we made the best of the skiing and as I've said Sarah & Katie worked hard, location wise you can't get much better however would I stay there again then the answer would be no due to the chalet issues.
