The 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed for 5 nights at the end of September/beginning of October and enjoyed this cozy place that really felt like being home. Our children had ample room to play games, draw, and spread out on the queen-sized pull-out sofa bed in the large living room, and the bedroom was spacious as well. The sheets and towels were very good quality.
We had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook meals and eat as a family at the dining table. Although we had already planned out our activities, Karen and Paul were full of great tips and guidance - they are both so warm and generous. The subways connected to everywhere we wanted to go, and we enjoyed walking in the beautiful neighborhood. We also felt very safe on this street, which is quiet - and with our white noisemakers we always take on travel, we all slept well every night. We would definitely stay again - thank you Karen and Paul!

Stayed here for 6 nights, very nice quiet area, had really good sleeps, big apartment, lots of space.

Very close to the subway, restaurants all other services and tourist hotspots.

Karen and Paul are great hosts, very knowledgeable about the city, can give lots of tips and help for anything you might need.

Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous trip to New York and really enjoyed staying in this very comfortable and peaceful studio. We loved the area and made good use of the local shops and restaurants and attractions particularly the High Line. A Garden in Chelsea is an oasis in the middle of Manhattan. Close to everything you need - subway, buses, restaurants, bars, theatre, supermarkets etc etc. Easy walk downtown as well as uptown. Hosts, Karen & Paul, are so friendly & welcoming. They have great recommendations to local highlights & restaurants. Their building is a “home away from home”… the best way to enjoy New York. We’ve stayed a few times & will always come back!

If you want to enjoy NYC and feel at home, A Garden in Chelsea is the place to stay. We spent 4 nights September 17th - 21st and could not be more comfortable. A central location in a beautiful location in Chelsea close to Chelsea Market, 1 block from the Highline with walking distance to Hudson Yards, Meatpacking district and more.
Our hosts Karen, Sophie and Paul are wonderful and are very helpful with all your needs close by and where you are staying.
We will definitely be back visiting my home city.

We have stayed a few times, and we will stay again when we come back to New York. It is not only at the excellent location but also Karen and Paul are wonderful hosts.

A Garden in Chelsea gives you the feel of “home”, it is very well equipped and very very clean. There is a garden connected to the room where you are free to use. Within a few minute walk you get a few supermarkets, drugstores, restaurants and etc. Subway station (A and C) is about 5 minute walk away. Also Chelsea Market and High Line are very practically a few minute walk.

I wholeheartedly recommend A Garden in Chelsea. It is a real gem in New York.

We had an exceptional stay at A Garden in Chelsea! The location is convenient, within a 16 minute walk to Penn Station with easy access to the subway and close to iconic spots like the Highline, Greenwich Village and Broadway. The studio was spacious, well-furnished, and impeccably clean, boasting access to a lovely garden and ample storage. The bathroom's large counter was appreciated. The hosts were incredibly gracious and attentive, making the experience even more delightful. Special mention to Charlotte, their charming dog! This B&B has become our go-to choice for future NYC trips. We highly recommend this B&B for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Manhattan!
