Location d'une semaine dans l'appartement 3A (du temps ou ils louaient les appartements à la semaine...). Correspondance rassurante avec des conseils pour le trajets jusqu'à la résidence. L'accueil a été courtois bien que relativement minimaliste. Dupuy's Landing est située dans un quartier bobo (à l'image de Manhattan), relativement proche des lignes de métro et dans une rue très calme (un havre de paix franchement bienvenu après une journée dans le tumulte new-yorkais). Mais au delà de ces critères classiques, l'exception du lieu tient à l'ambiance qui s'en dégage, qui donne le sentiment d'habiter un lieu chargé d'histoire et à cette impression de se sentir new-yorkais, au sens le plus idyllique du terme, d'autant que le quartier prolonge ce sentiment. La présence d'une cuisine permet d'économiser sur les repas, ce qui fait de ce logement un vrai bon plan. D'autant que, avec six mois de recul, Dupuy's Landing restera l'un des souvenirs marquants de notre voyage.

My husband and I were very fortunate in choosing DuPuy's Guest House for our May visit to NY. The house is on a beautiful, quiet tree lined street but only a few minutes walk from abundant restaurant choices and the subway. We enjoyed the privacy and security of the double door entry and the spaciousness of the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room cozily furnished. We encountered a few very small problems/questions and Alex was always immediately available to cheerfully assist us. We hope this wonderful guest room is available on our next trip to NY.

We stayed 4 nights with our teenage daughter and had a wonderful time. We received all the information to get there and we were welcomed by Natalie who showed us round and answered to all our questions and made us feel at home. Free wifi and TV in one of the room. Rooms are nice with good beds and we had access to the garden with BBQ and garden furniture which was really cosy and gave us another insight of New York. We had 2 separate rooms with a bathroom right next to the rooms in the hall. Very quiet and located in a very nice street. Access to kitchen, dining room and lounge on first floor all well equipped with a great vintage look and very good taste. Awesome house with lovely furniture. It felt like being at home in New York! Great area with loads of nice places to eat or drink. Close to high-line park and art galleries. Subway 3 blocks away. We recommend and would love to come back. Ideal with family.

My friend and I chose to meet in New York after not seeing each other for 5 years and after searching through hotel listings for hours on end and even reserving one, I randomly came across Dupuy's Landing House on a New York blog. I loved the look and sound of it straight away and fortunately so did my friend and I felt hugely relieved not only to book something up but also a place that was going to feel like we were really living in New York , and staying at Dupuy's certainly felt like that. Firstly, it's really easy to find from the subway, coming from JFK, and Chelsea is a vibrant, and well, what you imagine New York to be like! it's quiet at night and nice to stroll down the brownstone blocks at night or in the day, loads of places to eat nearby and my favourite place , The High Line...The room was perfect, from the parquet floors to the old tiles in the bathroom, a very comfy bed, fridge which came in very useful, and all the lovely little touches. I'm so glad we stayed there and would definitely stay again if I ever came back to New York, which I really hope we will on day.

My husband and I stayed in apartment 4B for the month of May. This apartment was light and airy. The bed was large and very comfortable. There was ample room for us to hang up our clothes. The apartment has two heaters which we did not require and a ceiling fan in the lounge and bedroom which we turned on a couple of times. The fans were quiet and did not interfere with sleeping. The apartment was very quiet, the only noise we would here were the sirens of the emergency vehicles. The location was perfect. One block to the Blue Line (a leisurely walk of about 5 minutes) and two blocks to the Red Line (a leisurely walk of about 8 minutes or so). We hardly ever had to wait for a uptown or downtown train. There were lots of places to eat at reasonable prices all within a short hop from the front door. The Rail Line Diner, The M Thai Restaurant the the Japanese Asuka Restaurant were all local favourites. Not to mention the local Starbucks coffee house. Also have to give a plug for Jakes Saloon. Great place to wind down after a day out. Happy hour 4-7 pm was very easy on the pocket. Blaise the owner was very helpful, he greated us on arrival and organised to be around when we left to travel home. We stayed at Dupuy's in the studio in 2007 for one week which we also enjoyed. When we return to NYC we will definitely stay at Dupuy's.

My husband , sister and I stayed at Dupuys Landing for three nights in May. Our daughter lives in Chelsea and we loved being in her neighborhood . The rooms were clean, comfortable and we felt st home. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to feel how it is to be live in a New York neighborhood .

very stylish guest house with a warm, old fashioned feel to it. parquet floors, period features. in a beautiful quiet chelsea neighbourhood with a raft of restaurants on its doorstep. wonderful owners who are totally discreet, unless you need them, in which case they spring into action to help. i can't recommend dupuy's landing highly enough for a reasonably affordable stay in the (quieter) heart of new york.

At dupuy's you are going to stay just like at home!||We were carring a lot of luggage so we appreciated our spacious room. Location is fantastic (Chelsea), dupuy's is in beautiful and quiet street so we had been sleeping fine! Our hosts greeted us well and they were always friendly. If you are going to new york dupuy's is strongly raccomended
