Avenida Brasil is a great spot for a lively lunch, especially if you’re with a big group of friends. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy good food and drinks while soaking in the energy of the place. The highlight was definitely the live music—fantastic performances that added to the experience and made the meal even more enjoyable. Service was friendly, and the food was tasty, though a few minor details could be improved. Overall, a great place for a social lunch with amazing entertainment!

Não foi à toa que amigos me indicaram o restaurante Avenida Brasil. O trabalho deles é incrível. Tirando o fato do processo de reserva ser burocrático e meio chato de fazer, valeu a experiência do local. A comida é incrível! O atendimento foi impecável e o ambiente é ótimo. Além de me surpreender agora com esse pós venda de pedir feedback. Sucesso à vcs!

Eu quero dizer que este foi o melhor restaurante brasileiro que eu já fui na Inglaterra!
Atendimento espetacular, sistema de pedidos moderno, staff sensacional e simpático, comida deliciosa e entregue muito rápido mesmo com o restaurante cheio, dupla sertaneja perfeita e ambiente lindo.

Viajamos do interior no final de semana para um aniversário e ficamos encantados com tudo!

This place has an excellent atmosphere. Went on a Sunday, they had Brazilian music and people were dancing the whole time. The food was good. I got the cod which came with very interesting pickled peppers that taste like hot sauce. The pan de qeiso (cheese bread) and coxhina (cheese and chicken balls) were great too, and paired well with the garlic and herb sauce.

Gostei da experiência pedimos, porção de peixinho eu não gostei muito pois tava um pouco aguado mais veio quantidade boa e a batata tava boa tbm, pedimos uma original cerveja p acompanhar estava bem gelada, uma porção de coracaozinho que tava no ponto legal tbm, fomos mega bem atendidas voltaremos com certeza !

This restaurant is slightly hidden in the centre of little Portugal, despite its large size and colourful facade that stands in clear contrast with the otherwise gloomy bus station it is facing.

Despite all that, the restaurant does it's best to take you out of the grey city vibe, and give you the illusion of a sunshiny, exotic experience.

The wooden terrace outside is covered in lush green plants and flowers, and is a great option on warmer days with lovely atmosphere.

While we did not sit inside, the interior looked nice too, and live music was playing which is a big big plus, and really boosts the mood.

Food lovers, beware! The portions are large and heavy and that is reflected on the price! Do not overorder, like we did, as even a few starters can fill you up, but one main, especially a burger can knock you down with it's sheer size. Also, the mains we tried came with sides and garnish galore, so I'd not advise to get sides unless super necessary.

I tried the fish option which was lovely and super filling. Just the right amount. We also ordered chicken hearts, cheese balls, and halloumi fries. Cocktails and drinks are pretty authentic too.

Staff was super kind and friendly, and very helpful. Overall lovely experience & highly recommended.

Disappointing.

We were met by a very friendly female, who sat us on a table by the front door. We asked if we could move seats, as the front door was open and it was very cold. We were told that we could not be moved (there were many free seats at the point) but that they would close the front door. This helped.

It wasn’t long before our food arrived but moments later the front door was left opened again. My partner asked a male waiter if it was possible to close the door, as we were freezing. The door was closed but a few minutes later the waiter returned and not so politely told my partner that he would not leave the door closed, as the staff were regularly having to pass that way. He reopened the door.

We had to put on our coats and in the end, after barely touching our meals, we asked for the bill so that we could leave. We had to ask for takeaway boxes for our food.

Given that we hadn’t touched the food when we were leaving, we were not asked if everything was OK or offered any form of apology.
