This place is lovely! The first thing we noticed was how gorgeous the landscaping is, and then we were greeted by a very nice lady who showed us our room and gave us a tour of where everything is. We got the Canon Room and it was beautiful! It has a large bathroom and main room with a (very cozy) king bed, as well as a sitting room with a large window with spectacular views of the mountains and Manitou. We also got the romantic package, so we had a nice bottle of Merlot as well as a platter of cheeses and fruits and crackers waiting on us, in addition to candles and rose petals around the room. It was beautiful, and made it extra special! We were there two nights so we got to experience breakfast twice, and it was absolutely delicious both times. We ate at a table outside and it was a very relaxing start to the morning.

Wonderful, quirky place to stay. The hotel is in a 1890s house that has been beautifully remodeled. Impeccably clean. Super friendly staff. A cat and a couple dogs wander the grounds (not in the lodging area) that are friendly. Delicious gourmet breakfast served at 9AM, or there are other options if you need to leave earlier. Breakfast was so good that I bought one of their cookbooks they have for sale. They had something different for breakfast every day. They leave snacks for you for free in your room, and also have hot tea/coffee available all day, and they sometimes leave out cookies. Housekeeping is very much on top of things and cleans the room every day. Hot tub in the backyard is great. Me and my husband were able to try it out and relax after a long day hiking Pikes Peak. Lovely place to stay, feels like home.

I am a little late reviewing this place, but do not let that take away from saying what a wonderful place this was. We stayed here in May, 2018, for several days. We stayed in the Pawnee room and found this ti be an outstanding experience.

The breakfasts provided were absolutely astounding and delicious, and were served on the front porch of this beautiful old house( they have an indoor dining room for the colder weather as well).

The location is perfect, being a literal walk out the door to the shops of Manitou Springs, and a short drive to any number of attractions in Colorado Springs and the surrounding area.

The hosts were outstanding, knowledgeable, and very polite. They would go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The property had lots of areas that you could easily find a private place to sit outdoors and enjoy the mountain air. On the final night of our stay a local band performed a concert on the adjacent library lawn, and the B&B's front porch provided a great place to sit and watch the show, and the hosts provided beer and wine for the guests to enjoy while listening to the concert.

We stayed in the Pawnee room The bed was superbly comfortable, as was the room. The room did have a down side, chiefly the detached private bathroom with a tiny tub/shower (it was a period cast iron tub with curtains all around, so the usable space was very small. . Everything else about the room was wonderful.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Avenue hotel bed and breakfast. My husband and I have stayed there several times and we always stay in the upper carriage house. The loft is beautiful and the shower head is AMAZING! The location is perfect, right where you need to be to see the downtown area. I love the hospitality we receive each time. The breakfast is gourmet and delicious, our privacy is always 100% respected and the fact that it was chillier when we stayed and we were still allowed to enjoy the comfortable hot tub was a HUGE plus! Gwenn and Randy, were very welcoming and accommodating to our needs for a relaxing vacation away from the kids. Each time we leave we immediately start planning our next trip! See you this summer.

Driving for hours through the mountains till we were too exhausted, we hastily searched online for a hotel to rest for the night, and found a listing online for this unique little antique gem B&B nestled right by the Garden of the Gods, Avenue Hotel Bed and Breakfast.

Charming and tucked in the middle of the neighboring village to its mountain Gods, this historical little cottage style bed and breakfast was one of the best experiences we'd had visiting Colorado state!

Lightly and carefully renovated to modernize the needs of the facility, the building has been kept up very well; you can tell a lot of love has gone into maintaining it. The room we stayed in was equipped with an antique claw-foot bathtub, a bed sized and styled for royalty, and an electric heating furnace designed to look like a fireplace. Additionally, the mountain's mineral water felt absolutely amazing to this city-dweller! The water feels so soft and pure to bathe in, I never knew the difference could be so pronounced! To add to the place's beauty, deep, tonal wind chimes clinked their binaural melodies against strong wind gusts we had that evening, adding yet another layer of charm to the place. The entire feel of the place is best described as "cozy & charming".

For breakfast the next day, two large dining tables were positioned in diagonally opposite rooms from one another, where the occupants of two rooms were seated opposite each another at each table; offering such a family-like vibe. The personal charms of having the owners of the B&B home-cook and serve a delicious and healthy breakfast and join each table to engage in conversation and tell the building's history was lovely; an experience I absolutely adored. This place is run by such kind people, and it is extremely well maintained. I very much plan to revisit here, if ever in southern Colorado again, and anybody headed that way I'll be sure to highly recommend this place to!

A very high standard for B&Bs. The rooms are old fashioned (claw foot tub+showers, etc...) but well done and comfortable. It is very quiet, you won't hear the other guests until breakfast. Speaking of, the breakfasts served are better than at most breakfast places. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It's location is perfect for walking and seeing the town. We will definitely be back.

The Avenue hotel bed and breakfast is located right in the heart of Manitou springs and has a very beautiful interior. The packages available were worthwhile. My wife and I stood in the midland room and enjoyed the bath package as well as the date night package. The room was very inviting and we appreciated the attention to detail with everything we got. Breakfast was out of this world delicious and capped off a very great anniversary for my wife and I. The staff was extremely welcoming and so we're the guests. We will be visiting again in the future.

We spent 3 nights for our anniversary, we should have stayed longer. Room was spacious, clean and had a great view of 3 sides of the property. We did the wine and meat tray with rose pedals the first night as a surprise for my wife, and we ended up getting the wine and meat tray every day we stayed as it was delicious. The home is huge, breakfast was plentiful and very well made, and the hosts were the absolute best. Second night we did the couples massage and was very glad we did, such a relaxing way to end your day. Manitou Springs is an amazing town and this B&B is smack dab in a prime location without it having alot of noise all day and night. We will be back again later this year
