I came here for a Too good to go bag and it was probably the best one I have ever had!
For starters, the quantity of goods was crazy, and I could tell from the first moment due to how heavy the bag was - I even had to change it to another one because I felt the paper handles would break with the weight!
It contained several (~7) slices of (vegan, if i recall correctly) banana bread of different kinds (plain, walnut and walnut+chocolate I believe), all of which were amazing. Some pieces were already starting to get gummy by the time I got to them, but considering I took a couple days even after sharing some, that does not come as a surprise - they were still pretty much enjoyable.
I also got an almond pain-au-chocolat, a hybrid I had only heard of but never tried myself, and it was quite delightful! Rather big, too.
The star of the bag were three canelés, two plain and one with sugar on top, which were so delicious that I felt tempted to return just for one - the custard center was creamy and soft, while the caramelised exterior had a more chewy bite with a stronger flavour. Definitely a must-try! The flavour was overall fantastic, I found the plain ones were the best since a lighter, not as sweet taste, allows its own flavour to shine more.
I was hungry so I had some before I got home and took the photo of all of the goodies together, as a note.
The two men at the store when I went in kindly greeted me even before I crossed the door as I admired their funny sign, and they promptly gave me my bag which was already prepared with genuinely too-good-to-go baked goofs. They gave me such nice vibes, I feel like they would make being a usual here quite enjoyable!
Overall a great experience, if I'm ever around in London and have the chance to, I will certainly return!

Artistry and Espresso at CHAOS London: A Creative Haven

Finding CHAOS London was like stumbling upon an artist’s secret sanctuary amidst the vibrant streets of Spitalfields. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the café’s co-owner, Guido, whose passion for Italian design and London’s unique style was evident in every inch of the space. With its luminous noir lighting and enchanting mirrored writings, CHAOS is a place that must be experienced in person to truly appreciate its magic.

This morning, as I settled in with my writings, I was served by Khayal, who provided me with a slice of vegan banana bread that was nothing short of sublime – moist, flavorful, and a perfect match for my Aerocano, a frothy twist on the Americano, which packed a punch and kick-started my day with its robust flavor. Four shots later, I was not just awake but inspired.

Our conversation ventured into the realm of generative AI, offering food for thought alongside the literal feast. Khayal’s insights were as refreshing as the coffee, and as I worked on my children’s book, ‘Alpha Bunny,’ the café’s creative energy fueled my imagination.

CHAOS London isn’t just a coffee shop; it’s an artistic hub, a meeting place for minds that thrive on creativity and conversations that stretch into new territories. For any artist or coffee enthusiast looking for a corner of inspiration, CHAOS London is a jewel in the Eastside’s crown, a beacon of passion and a testament to the arts. An absolute must-visit.

Lovely little cafe with a nice vibe. I had an enjoyable different aerocano, a frothed black americano being the best way I can describe it. Looks like a hot Guinness! Lovely sweet treats as well, with some gluten free options.

When I'm next down this way I'll pop in for a cuppa.

OMG! How have I missed this hideaway café? Brilliant location, top service, excellent ambiance. Caught my eye, best little hidden secret if your looking for a catch up with mates or just a hide away from workplace. Thank you🤩best macchiato I had in a long time, well, since Milan 1997. 😝

Chaos is, without a doubt, my favourite coffee shop in London. The vibe is unmatched—they’ve absolutely nailed that sense of community you just don’t find anywhere else in the city. The customer base is such a great mix of regulars and tourists, and the baristas make it so easy to strike up a conversation. I’ve made so many friends here!

The coffee is always spot on. I usually go for an oat latte, but when I feel like mixing it up, the Matcha or Chai lattes are just as perfect. And don’t even get me started on the pastries and food—they’re incredible.

If you’re looking for great coffee and an even better atmosphere, I couldn’t recommend Chaos enough. It’s the kind of place that keeps you coming back, time and time again.
