We came to the Chateau for afternoon tea. It’s a beautiful property set in well cared for grounds. We had our afternoon tea in the recently refurbished Orangerie. The setting was lovely and the beautiful home cooked sandwiches and pastries were amazing. Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating and I would recommend it as something to do with friends or visitors to the area.

We went for afternoon tea to celebrate a friend's birthday. We were served 3 kinds of sandwiches, mini sausage rolls and a mini quiche and a selection of individual cakes. This with a welcome drink and tea. After a tour of the chateau we were served a delicious drink and a cream cake. Beautiful home made cakes and pastries.

Just a perfect afternoon|Anita and Keith are a charming couple who are quietly bringing this homely chateau back to life, having transformed the rooms into Chambres d’Hôte suites and offering Afternoon Tea (currently on a 'bespoke' basis, until the renovation of The Orangery Tearoom is completed).|My sister and I went with another couple (although it was intended to be a larger party). The chateau is set in grounds of around five acres, bounded by the river Salleron. After a warm and friendly welcome, we were invited to take a stroll through the cyclamen-shrouded woods down to the river. The river was quite low, but very pretty and the ancient Mill is set in an idyllic spot. We saw ragondin and the most enormous hare! On returning to the house we were seated on the terrace and enjoyed the most scrumptious savoury and sweet delights (we had the “Two Tier Tea”, our companions had the “Three Tier Tea”) accompanied by tea and coffee. Anita (I'm assuming it's her!) is a magician in the kitchen and Keith is a charming 'serveur'. We felt very well looked after.|After Tea, Keith treated us to a tour of the Château with some interesting historical facts. The Suites are all beautifully and comfortably furnished - this is not a massive chateau and, although the façade is quite imposing, the rooms have a cosy feel.|As I live in the area, I doubt I’ll ever have reason to stay at the chateau, but I envy those who do! As for the Tea, I can recommend it whole-heartedly. If you want to be spoilt rotten and eat superb delicacies that you wouldn’t make at home, book an Afternoon Tea. And, as it’s incredible value for money, it doesn’t even have to be a special occasion (even though Anita and Keith make it feel like one)!

Place is beautifully located in a rural part of France, we came for afternoon tea with my mum and grandad after mum had recommended the place to us on vacation. It's a charming and gorgeous place for afternoon tea, we were full of lovely food by the end! Thank you both so much for your hospitality and amazing service!

Can't comment on the rooms as we didn't say but did have a tour of the château and the rooms are stunning

We took my daughter for afternoon tea here today. There were 5 of us(myself, hubby, 14yr old son, 11 yr old daughter and my mother in law). Mother in law lives in France and booked us in. They were very accommodating as 2 of us vegetarian. The welcome was warm and friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious. So much fabulous food. My daughter loved it and made day special. Recommend the afternoon tea to all.

Stayed a couple of nights so we could explore the area. The grounds were beautiful and we had time to stroll around. The suites were wonderfully equipped and very comfortable beds. Keith and Anita couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. Excellent breakfast with homemade jams and cakes and yogurt/muesli pots.
