Avec des amis nous avons passé deux nuits au Château d'Escurat , Le Dorat (87).||L'endroit, le Château, la décoration intérieure magnifique, les chambres impeccables, le petit-déjeuner excellent , l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires Adam et David. Tout cela est de grande classe avec un charme étonnant. Nous y avons été accueillis comme des amis et avons apprécié nos discussions , en anglais, avec Adam et David qui sont anglais et ont décidé de reprendre ce joli petit château, le remettre en état et le rendre accessible aux voyageurs. Un endroit à ne pas manquer si l'on visite le Limousin. " A must to visit and enjoy !".

Le Château d'Escurat est un château d'une beauté époustouflante situé dans l'incroyable campagne du Limousin en France. Il est situé juste à l'extérieur de la petite ville du Dorat célèbre pour sa collégiale et son architecture de style roman excellent accueil par David et Adam ,ils feront tous pour vous satisfaire ,tres belle chambre d'époque avec une literie exceptionnelle, nous y avons passés un superbe séjour

Endroit tellement INCROYABLE et MAGNIFIQUE, tenu par un couple Anglais d’une amabilité et d’une gentillesse exemplaire !! L’intérieur est refait avec goût et est extrêmement propre. A découvrir !!!

What a fabulous place. We arrived to a warm welcome and met the little adorable dogs. (They are contained for anyone afraid, we asked to meet them). |The chateau is stunning. Beautifully maintained and clean as a whistle. |The views are to die for and the bed is huge and incredibly comfortable. |Adam and David are fabulous. Full of recommendations for the local area which was invaluable as we visited just out of season. |This is a must stay and would also make the most beautiful wedding venue. So much space to spread out. |I can't recommend the place enough. Come and see for yourself and some of the best hospitality. |Thanks Adam and David for a wonderful stay. We wish you all the best for the future. X

A fabulous 4 night stay. Adam and David are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
Château d'Escurat is tastefully furnished - in my opinion to a high degree - Adam has a good eye for detail and puts my curtain making to shame!!
A great couple who we are proud to call friends. We will be back !!

Amazing Chateaux has the wow factor from arriving at the the main gate carrying through all the individually sympathetically designed and furnished rooms as seen on tv. Beautifully decorated with the high end home made drapes and furnishings made by Adam one of the owners, totally in keeping with the period. Locally sourced furniture and fittings.
Adam and David are such welcoming friendly accommodating owners who couldn’t do enough to make my visit the perfect stay. Thanking you both cannot wait until my next visit.

We stayed at the Château d’Escurat in late October and had a very relaxing visit.||||The Chateau is situated about 8 hours drive south of the Channel Tunnel. The Chateau is the owners home which they opened as accommodation in July 2021. The owners were very welcoming and helped with our luggage.||||The room we stayed in was nicely decorated with interesting art. The bed was comfortable and shower was great.||||The continental breakfast and coffee are ideal and set you up for the day.||||We walked in the grounds which are nice for a stroll and assessable to everyone. A chance to forget the outside world.||||I should say I have no association with the Château or it's owners. It is simply hard to criticize the place.||||Whilst not the cheapest accommodation in the area, the rate is value for money.

We popped over to the chateau this afternoon from our house a few miles away, having seen it first on a ‘New Life in the Sun’. We couldn’t have been made more welcome. Adam and David were a delight. Although they have loads going on, Adam more than willingly gave up a lot of time to chat with us. David on the other hand was dealing with their plumber and yet once he’d sorted things, he couldn’t have been more welcoming. If this is the way they treat their patrons, it must be an absolute pleasure to stay there. The whole ambience of the chateau is wonderful. The programme doesn’t do it or the hosts full credit. We look forward to popping over again later in the year and who knows we might even bring a bottle of something sparkling with us!!
