Stayed at this stunning B&B for a week in June 2019. Atty & Mark are the perfect hosts. You are made to feel like part of the family and the welcome could not be better. With amazing views from the garden this is a most stay for anyone staying in this region of France . Steeped in history and tradition. ||||The rooms are exquisite and was perfect for our stay for the week. ||||Thank you once again Atty and Mark see you again in September, already booked again for this year

We stayed here on route to a weeks fishing trip and it really is a great place to spend a few days to relax and recharge your batteries. Hattie and a Mark are great hosts and we felt totally at ease and very welcome. They created a perfect balance of being attentive and giving you space to do your own thing. The rooms are big, clean and it has classic country house feel. Great food in the evening and a good laugh after dinner. Definitely booking again.

Atty and Mark are the hosts that all other hosts strive to be. From the moment you pull into the private drive and parking you are made to feel like one of the family and not just a guest. The location is perfect for stop overs to Spain and the South of France or longer stays enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The house is very comfortable and the rooms are clean and bright. Atty's meals are wonderful and plentiful.||I will certainly chose this home from home next time I'm in the area.||Thank you Atty & Mark & Barney for a your fantastic hospitality.

Me and my husband went for a two week break, we had a lovely balcony room that could also be for a family as it also had a twin bedroom. We were made to feel very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for Mark and Atty the owners. We left after our two weeks stay! Feeling very chilled and relaxed. We would well recommend this place to family and friends whether it be for a one night passing through to staying longer! We are sure you will be very welcome. Di and Mark Telford

Definitely our favorite place we stayed while in France. The views from the house are wonderful, and it has a rustic and genuine French feel. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and helped us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We couldn't recommend Le Pelateau highly enough.

Thank you atty and mark for what was a great relaxing stop off en route to a weeks fishing. The hospitality and friendliness was simply exquisite. The evening meal was to die for. Anyone who is thinking of booking the do it, don't give it a second thought. Just do it. I've been wax lyrical about the place since I've been home. You'll not be disappointed. Next over end Oct 2018 with Mark Lycett and I going to make sure I travel down the day before. Hope you've room

We stayed 3 weeks in the self-catering gite, which was lovely. I worked remotely doing video conferencing on high-speed internet (20MB!) all over the world. Barn owls roosted next door, so we were blessed with lots of entertainment. At times the swimming pool water was 28 degrees, and just what is needed late afternoon. Our central location was the gite at Le Pelateaux, from where we explored the Correze, Dordogne and H Vienne areas. There is loads to see, from the lovely Uzerche and Pompadour and St Segur, to kayaking, riverside picnics, etc. Our hosts, Attie and Mark were remarkable people, and provided much advice, pamphlets, even made French phone calls on our behalf. We plan returning in a few months, as I already miss the people we met and places we visited. I would definitely recommend the gite!

nice peaceful location , we explored the surrounding towns and region thoroughly ,||beautiful country side and wide open spaces , we will be back .||Atty and mark are great hosts and throw a great BBQ , and if you still need contact with the outside world good speed internet . weather a stop over on the way through or staying longer , it is a good place to stop at , we will be back to see more of the region
