A nice little place. Simple small room with a shower. Food however excellent and good value. We had Poulet de Bresse and jugs of house wine with cheese starter and dessert. Village very quiet when we were there and there was no bar so took our drink in the hotel. Breakfast was outstanding with meets, cheeses fresh fruit and jams. All in all good value and would stay there again.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only passing through travelling back to the UK. We booked it using the internet in the week previous whilst away travelling. It was such a pleasant surprise. The comments on Tripadvisor paint the village as somewhat dour, but it is quite charming. Not much going on there, and it is likely that this Hotel is the main attraction. For good reason though as the restaurant is excellent. The room was basic but comfortable and spotlessly clean. The en-suite was fine for one night and the bed was comfortable. ||||Best of all was the charming proprietor who made me feel that I was able to use my French without chipping in in English as so often happens. Even though it turns out that her English was far superior to my own French. This is very unusual in my experience.||||The menu is extensive and good value. As usual it is the wine which will pushed up the bill, especially if you extend to the second bottle. Breakfast was probably the most widely varied that we had during our stay in France and was excellent. There is plenty of parking space and there is secure parking at the rear- although I can't imagine that in such a quiet village there would be any problems with leaving the car. It was excellent value.

We stayed only for 1 night. We enjoyed the excellent breakfast. Also the staff/owners were very nice. The room was little small for the 3 of us. Also the lack of air-co was too bad as we were having temperatures of over 30 degrees.

We came across the hotel late in the day and starting to feel a bit desperate about where we would end up on our last night in France, before crossing into Switzerland.||The Au Puits Enchante is a fairly ordinary hotel in a fairly ordinary town south of Dijon. However the dining room was a real treat. It offered a great way to finish up the France leg of our trip - duck in aspic, lamb, guinea fowl, savoury mousse, reasonably priced wine and a great cheese plate. Dinner, B&B came in just under Euro100 (May 2008) - excellent value||If you manage to come across this place, don't be put off by the general look of the town, or even the Hotel itself - but make sure you dine "in-house".

Stopped over on our way down to Vaison and this hotel is lovely, nice clean rooms, good shower and very very nice evening meal. Staff very friendly, not a lot of English but we got by!

Located in a quiet village the Au Puits Enchante also has a good restaurant and access to the motorway.||||The rooms are of a reasonable size and freshly decorated.
