I have craved and missed eating homemade food. Being away from loved ones for months, once I got the taste of freedom, I told my husband we needed to try some Asian places here! We are from Cali, settling in NC. The food was soooo delicious, the service was exceptional being our first time here, and the ambience is very light and quiet. Everything was perfect, I would definitely return!!

HOT Thai spicy but very flavorful red curry pork. I always order “Thai Spicy” when eating all over traveling but tonight was different. This was a next level tasty and spicy hot that had my adrenaline and pulse pumping. Wow…respect. I will definitely be back.

It’s a local treasure about two blocks down from the market house. a short walk from the courthouse. I took the walk from the circle at the market house because the weather has been so agreeable lately. Mai’s kitchen has been apart of the 26’s culinary offerings for a while now. I feel a lot of folk will miss out on the great food and service Mai’s offered because of its location but I wouldn’t let that stop me. If there a unique taste to be had I’ll be there. The dining area is simple but clean. The decor is south Asian in style. Service was prompt and welcoming. The food was good and tasty. The chef ms mai came out a few time to introduce herself and ask if the food was good and if we could instruct her how to make it better experience. I personally enjoyed her interaction with us, it’s really what set the experience apart in my mind and made me feel that she personally valued me and my relationship with her relationship. I think it’s a touch missing at a lot of eateries in town

Great tai food! Friendly and efficient staff. Loved the Pad Tai and Drunken Noodle entrees. Had a lunch special. $12.99 for entree, appetizer and tea. Easy walk from main downtown.

I have been eating at Mais for over 3 years never had a bad experience. 2 weeks ago I ordered red curry and it was terrible. Today I ordered lo main to go and it was given to me on a rotten Styrofoam box.

We were at our trip to Myrtle beach, past this Thai restaurant. The food is delicious and enjoy the time here. The chief serves us a special drink. Very nice! Highly recommended!

The food was very tasty, restaurant was very clean. The owner is all about hospitality and really makes sure you are enjoying your experience. I underestimated how spicy level 2 out of 5 (5 being the most spicy) since I don’t eat spicy food often, so she gave me some watermelon to snack on and that worked. I would recommend the mild if you are like me. I was curious about what 5 tasted like and she offered a sample. It was a very special and interactive experience! We also got ice cream with rice and I recommend that as as well. The rice and ice cream go well together.
