Large room. Clean and well maintained. Bed is comfortable. Yes, pillows are flat but there are a lot of them and many people don’t like fat pillows. Nice pool with pool towels. |Breakfast is pretty nice, offers more than some: coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bread and English muffins, pastries, waffles, two types of cereal, individual bottles of lowfat milk, hard-cooked eggs, little containers of fruit, nonfat yogurt.

For some reason my first review is gone. So I will do another one. We got there and were checking in the elderly woman at the desk informed us that between 10PM and 7AM there is no one ay the desk. We found out if we needed clean towels we had to bring the dirty ones to the front desk to get clean ones. There was no room service. We were not happy with the room. There was a sidewalk in front of the rooms along with a step up into the room. I had a hard time getting into the room because of the step. I went to the desk to see if we could switch to a handicapped accessible room in the lodge. I told them we would pay the difference in price if we could get a accessible room. We hadn't even taken our luggage into the room yet. I was told all the rooms were booked. For the three nights we were there we saw no more than five or six cars in the lot and most of them were parked in front of the building we were in. The room we were in had a musty smell. The carpet left alot to be desired and we had to take our garbage out to one of the garbage cans. It was hard to get on the mattress because it was quite a ways off the floor, it was comfortable that was only good thing about the room. There was a couple that was traveling with us and they weren't happy with their room either. We go to this area every fall and we definitely will not stay at this motel again.

we were at rustic manor 10/24. i want to warn everyone that this hotel has bed bugs and deer ticks. which our doctor provided diagnosis on paper for hotel. they will not refund our money and deny any accusations. the room also had a plugged sink. broken lite. broken clock. found bugs crawling on floor. please dont stay here as we r still going thru treatments. they dont refund your money no matter what. very old not updated at all

The property was relatively clean but VERY outdated. Pillows were flat and extremely old - as were the bed blanket and room towels. The pool towels were thin, small and pilled. They appeared to be decades old. The bathroom smelled like septic. No light over the shower so you are basically showering in the dark. The hot tub was broken and there was dirt accumulated in the corner of it. No screens on the windows. Decor is dreary and unappealing - the curtains are brown, the bedspreads are brown, the furniture is brown, the room towels are brown...........This property is in dire need of a makeover. The reception desk is rarely staffed so it's very hard to register a complaint but it likely wouldn't do any good. The main receptionist is unpleasant and doesn't seem to care at all about the customers - just the "rules" about where to park, and what time you are allowed to use the amenities. There is no one on-site after 10 pm so if you have a problem good luck getting it resolved. Totally explains why they were almost completely vacant. Will never stay there again and will not recommend.

We have stayed at the Rustic Manor Motor Lodge three times and always had a good experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is always very kind and helpful. It is a cozy spot with a great old-school feel. I can't recommend it enough!

What a great place with kind staff and comfortable rooms. Has a nice semi retro feel instead of the cold corporate feel of the mainstream hotels.

We were looking for a one night last minute place to stay in the area. It was clean, friendly and had a nice breakfast. There was a fire pit, clothesline, and other amenities that would be great for a family vacation in the area. Pool looked very nice. Recommend!

Our family stayed here the past 20 years. Always loved it and never had a bad experience. Sadly, we were disappointed with our last visit. The front desk staff was extremely cordial. Our room, while clean, was definitely in need of some upgrades. The pillows were flat as pancakes. The light fixture on 1 side of the bed didn’t work. Ice machine didn’t work. We were informed that no manager was on sight or on call after 10 PM. The hotel went on lockdown at 10 PM. If we had any issues we would be out of luck. Not one of our better visits.
